This Mother’s Day, the Green Docs host Laneceya Russ and Yuliya Labko of the national nonprofit March For Moms, featured recently in a 60 Minutes expose on improving maternal health.
Nate and Bruce lead off with some recent headlines: toxic chemicals in children’s clothes, elephants who can induce their own labor, and a couple of million-dollar babies – Oscar winner Hilliary Swank welcomes twins.
The guys next welcome a surprise guest- Nate’s mom, Mary- who shares her decades of experience caring for pregnant women as a doctor of nursing and lactation consultant. Of course, she has some embarrassing childhood stories about Nate and even some scary tales of Bruce dancing in New Orleans at Nate’s wedding.
Laneceya and Yuliya the interview guests highlight their amazing work helping protect moms and babies across the US, and once you’re ready to pitch in, don’t worry – we’ve got all the info for you to keep calm and march for moms.
