Edgar is an RCOG certified Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, a Fellow of the RCOG and RCPI. A Consultant at the Rotunda Hospital and Honorary Professor at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, he engages in providing clinical care, academic education at under and postgraduate level and contributes to the activities of international organizations such as ESHRE, FIGO, IFFS and the WHO. Edgar holds a Doctor in Medicine degree from Trinity College Dublin. He is currently serving as the President of the International Federation of Fertility Societies.
