Chief Medical Officer/Co-Founder, e-Lōvu Health
I am a co-founder and chief medical officer of e-Lōvu Health, Inc, a healthcare technology company that aims to reinvent the delivery of prenatal and postpartum care to better the lives of patients and care providers. I have nearly 25 years experience as a women’s health physician, and over 15 years of experience as a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) physician, working with high-risk pregnancies and providing expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for both mothers and fetuses. I am board-certified in MFM and obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). In medical training I was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, was awarded best teaching resident, and was elected as administrative chief resident.
My passion is to develop and implement innovative solutions that leverage technology, data, and evidence-based practices to transform maternal care delivery and improve outcomes. I have led the virtual OB program at Mednax, a national medical group, where I also served as the MFM director of O’Connor Hospital for 10 years. I am an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, a healthcare advisor at HIP, an affiliate member of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), and a Fellow of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
In my spare time I have been speaking and publishing on the perils of climate change to human reproductive health, author articles in Medium, and enjoy photography, mindfulness meditation, and spending time with my family.
